Abstract

We examined emergent behaviour in 2 French protests videos. Audio from violent and non-violent events following group synchrony were examined with multi-scalar entropy and mixed models. Results suggest a different signature between violent and non-violent events, suggesting dynamical systems approaches can distinguish between conditions that lead to group violence.
