Abstract

Heavy episodic drinking (HED) among college students is both common and problematic. The current study examined the relation between HED, its consequences, and emotion regulation as measured by self-report (DERS) and physiological measures (HRV). Many differences in emotion regulation were found related to gender, but not to drinking history.
