Abstract

Our research hypothesized that the narrative content of media can influence attitudes toward alcohol of the spectator by an evaluative conditioning phenomenon. Through two studies, we showed that describing the consequences of a story, positive or negative, of a stimulus leads to the formation of propositional beliefs.
