Abstract

Various cognitive vulnerabilities predict internalizing disorders, but a structure mapping their associations is lacking. A bifactor model comprising a latent core cognitive vulnerability and eight specific vulnerabilities was constructed in a sample of adolescents. Both the core factor and some specific vulnerabilities predicted internalizing symptoms on transdiagnostic and specific levels.
