Abstract
This study assessed perceptions surrounding Juvenile Sexual Offenders. The findings demonstrate that there are significant misperceptions held regarding offending/recidivism rates and treatment amenability, by both judges and mturk participants. Despite judges’ estimates being more conservative, it is clear that additional training and policy improvement is needed to incorporate developmental considerations.
