Abstract
This study examined dyadic influences of alcohol use on intimacy among post-9/11 U.S. military veterans and spouses (N = 162 dyads) across a 32-day Internet-based survey. Actor-partner Interdependence Model (APIM) analyses revealed, for example, drinking with one’s spouse was related to increases in intimacy that day for both partners.
