Abstract

In a study investigating the impact of mindfulness training on cognitive, emotional, and language development in early childhood, 22 kindergartners were randomly assigned to mindfulness treatment or control and assessed on response inhibition, emotional awareness, and language. Results suggest mindfulness training increased emotional awareness, self-control, and expressive language skills.
