Parental and Sibling Relationships in Emerging Adulthood: A Mediational Model of Well-Being

The study assessed the family factors associated with sibling relationships and outcomes linked with sibling warmth in emerging adults. Positive associations were found between parental marital satisfaction and sibling dynamics. Parental marital satisfaction mediated the relationship between parental divorce and sibling closeness and between parental divorce and sibling communication.
