Abstract

Processes underlying the health halo effect were investigated. We hypothesized that it may be due to implicit associations in memory. However, after conducting classical and Bayesian statistical analyses, we concluded that implicit association does not influence the health halo effect, although we found strong evidence for the effect itself.
