Abstract

we examined the relationship between skin color and other factors (e.g., nationality), inter- and intra-group discrimination, and self-reported mental health among Latino college students. Findings showed that darker-skinned individuals perceived more inter- and intra-group discrimination than their lighter-skinned counterparts. Both types of discrimination were associated with poorer mental health.
