Abstract

Researchers investigated the relationship between psychopathy and PTSD, then explored their contributions to violence. Results revealed no significant relationship between PTSD and psychopathy. However, traumatic exposures were associated with the presence and severity of psychopathy and violence. Participants with comorbid PTSD and psychopathy committed the highest number of violent behaviors.
