Abstract

Atypical sensory processing are reported in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our aims were: to estimate the prevalence of atypical sensory processing in 197 children with ASD, to investigate associations with adaptive functioning and maladaptive behaviours. Results show a high prevalence of atypical sensory processing, which are strongly associated with behavioural problems.
