Abstract

This retrospective study confirmed the mediator role of current family criticism in the relationship between mothers’ rating of past family expressiveness and young adults’ current emotionality, with 164 dyads composed of young adults and their mothers. Furthermore, the model was invariant in function of type of families and residential status.
