Abstract

Approximately three-fourths of sexually active college students report regretted sex, with a third of those indicating alcohol involvement. Drinking habits and use of protective behavioral strategies (PBS) were assessed. We found that students who use PBS are able to avoid the negative consequences often associated with drinking alcohol.
