Abstract

In a nationwide sample of preschool teachers (N = 332), we found that self-efficacy was related to work stress and its relationship was mediated by anxiety. Especially, teacher’s classroom management efficacy was related to their discipline and motivation stress. These results have implications for potential strategies to reduce teacher stress.
