Effects of Personality Traits and Emotional Intelligence on Principal’s Leadership Performance

Abstract

A study of school principals in UAE was conducted to determine the effects of personality traits and emotional intelligence on school principals’ leadership performance. The results showed principal’s emotional intelligence and personality traits (i.e., conscientiousness and openness to experience) significantly correlated with leadership performance.
