Abstract

The study examined coping strategies of 232 adolescents who were cybervictims.
Results revealed that 20.7% were cybervictims. Adolescents who are cybervictims reported less use of problem-focused coping strategies, a greater use of emotion-focused strategies, and a greater use of avoidance-focused coping strategies, compared to adolescents who are not cybervictims.
