Abstract

Limited research has examined sentencing outcomes for teacher-student sexual abuse cases; the current study investigates whether defendant/victim gender, age, race, and having multiple victims is associated with sentencing outcomes. Results indicate that defendant age, victim age, and whether there was one or multiple victims had significantly affected sentencing outcomes.
