Abstract

Despite an exceptionally large sample, our findings demonstrate only minimal correlation between social preferences and cognitive control and no relation between preferences and neural activity during cognitive control. We do find however, differences in social preferences are reflected in differences in brain structure in areas associated with Theory of Mind.
