Comparative Analysis of Developmental State between Rural Left-behind Children and Non-Left-behind Children in Henan Province of China

In rural China, some parents transfer the care of their children to grandparents in order to find work in cities. Such “left-behind children” often cannot see their parents for long periods. This study examines the differences in development between children raised by grandparents and those raised by parents.
