Abstract

This study assessed differential item functioning (DIF) of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. Although model comparisons flagged nine items for measurement bias (DIF), effect sizes suggested that the level of DIF negligible overall. Future research is needed to minimize measurement bias in diverse populations.
