Abstract

This research was aimed at investigating whether exposition to Brazilian advertisements that represent jeitinho (an indigenous social navigation strategy) would influence dishonest behavior. Watching the adverts did not affect it but performing a task with privacy did in an unexpected way: instead of lying participants reported low values.
