Motivational Videos, Brain Activity, and Perceived Academic Motivation in College Students

Abstract

The current study examined the relationship between frontal brain activity, perceived feelings of motivation, and an academic motivational video. We found a significant difference in the frontal lobe sites (Fp1 and Fp2) between students who watched the motivational video versus the neutral video (U (25) = 48.00, p < 0.05).
