Abstract
We investigated, among individuals with mental health problems, the psychometric properties of the Satisfaction with Life Scale using Classic Test Theory and Item Response Theory. The scale had good reliability and gave good information across most of the latent trait, but it could not measure some levels of life satisfaction.
