Abstract

We used a ternary model to investigate which antecedents influenced psychiatric patients’ judgments of life satisfaction. Although cognitions around material resources (e.g., economy) influenced life satisfaction, only cognitions around social (e.g., friends) and personal (e.g., outlook on own health and illness) resources remained significant when the whole model was tested.
