Abstract

High velocity human factor (HVHF) environments are defined by the possibility of physical danger, limited information, and unpredictable futures. For law enforcement, preparation for this potential is a challenging responsibility. A generic qualitative research inquiry was performed to explore psychological preparation techniques utilized by law enforcement officers.
