Abstract

Across 15 countries, survey scores from 145 female-to-male transmen examined how the transition experience shaped psychological well-being (i.e., individual and collective self-esteem). Results indicate that positive transition experiences with access to surgery and self-identity since the transition are related to more positive well-being in transmen.
