Abstract

The association between peer victimization and psychosocial functioning among 213 (Mean= 11.49 yrs) Indian school children was examined. Regression analysis revealed that 18% of variance in total adjustment scores of victims was accounted by their social competency (F=4.81, P=.039). Bullying intervention programs should aim at improving social competency among students.
