Abstract
This study examines whether observer-coded measures of emotion expressive behavior are predictive of treatment gains from Emotion Regulation Therapy (ERT). Before treatment, participants diagnosed with GAD viewed emotionally evocative film clips while being video-recorded. Individuals who were more expressive, while viewing the sad and suspenseful film clips, made greater improvements.
