Abstract
This mixed-methods study adopts the Stereotype Content Model to provide a new insight into the relationship between student's ethnicity and teachers' expectations and stereotypes. Experiment results suggest that teacher expectations can be related to just one dimension of stereotype, whereas post-experimental interviews explore teachers' beliefs regarding students' performance.
