Abstract

Semantic categories are used to test cognitive aging processes, but their norms involve only college students. This work examines the network structure of 70 categories from community-dwelling adults (18-77 years). Although, some categories remain consistent across age, the structure of other categories changes despite similarities in item frequency and typicality.
