Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis: Social Anxiety and Probability and Cost Estimates

Abstract
A systematic review and meta-analysis showed that social anxiety symptoms are associated with estimating that negative social, but not non-social, events are likely to occur, and that the consequences would be costly. The effect was not moderated by age, gender, and country, and could not be explained by other psychopathology.
