Abstract

The current study sought to enhance negative emotion differentiation, an ability associated with adaptive behavioral and emotional outcomes, through an online emotion word-learning intervention. Findings showed increased NED and reduced symptoms and distress post-intervention, suggesting that NED is indeed malleable and enhancing it results in beneficial outcomes.
