Social Capital and Collegiate Academic Achievement

Abstract
Social capital is viewed as a cohesive mechanism for resources, networks, and relationships to work together. The present study examined the importance of social capital and its association with collegiate academic achievement while also investigating why some college students are able to succeed academically at a greater rate than others.
