Exploring Mediating and Moderating Role of Personality in the Relationship between Nomophobia and Mental Health Among Adolescents

Abstract

This study contributes to the cyber psychology literature by exploring the mediating and moderating role of personality in the relationship between nomophobia and mental health in a sample of 473 adolescents. The findings suggest that neuroticism mediates while conscientiousness and agreeableness mitigates the negative relationship between nomophobia and mental health.
