Abstract

Hypothesised that repetitive negative thinking (RNT) can be conceptualised as a maladaptive coping mode, ‘over-analysing’, consistent with Young’s schema mode model.

Correlational and mediation analyses support a model where the relationship between angry child (AC) and vulnerable child (VC) schema modes and RNT, was mediated by experiential avoidance.
