Abstract

Voluntary regulated breathing practice showed different physiological and attention-related changes in long-term and short-term practitioners using autonomic, evoked potentials and cognitive performance. However, the underlying hemodynamic responses in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) while breathing through a specific nostril are still unknown.
