Abstract
There are conflicting results on the efficacy of power posing to control anxiety in social situations and improve performance on anxiety-provoking tasks. The current study is a replication of a controversial study suggesting that using expansive nonverbal postures (power posing) resulted in reduced anxiety. The current study had different results.
