Abstract

In the early 1910's there was no revolution of the Manifesto's quotations, no flurry of evidence contrary to consciousness as a scientific object, and no deep rearrangement of psychology. Here we show how behaviorism was born in continuityof the Zeitgeist of American Psychology in the 20th century.
