Abstract

Research examined if telling traumatic story in L2 (vs. L1) on stress levels among PTSD. We hypothesized that when a participant’s cognitive resources were invested in formulation of words in a language which he wasn’t fluent (L2), telling the story may become psychologically easier, and stress levels would be reduced.
