Abstract

This study, conducted with 706 adolescents, proposes to identify, by a longitudinal study design on two years, the predictors of adolescent attachment to parent. Results indicate that adolescent’s attitudes towards parent, attachment to peers and history of emotional abuse are the factors that explain the most important portion of variance.
