Abstract

According to the hopelessness theory of depression (Abramson, Metalsky, & Alloy, 1989), some individuals have cognitive vulnerability that interacts with negative life events to create depression. It remains unclear if reliability of cognitive vulnerability construct applies to more diverse populations. This study focuses on participants from the country of Honduras.
