Abstract

Understanding the pathophysiology of neurotrauma is crucial for the development of effective therapeutic strategies. Functional imaging can provide the link between cognitive rehabilitation and neuroplasticity. Whether rehabilitation has a significant effect on the neurobiological underpinning of memory recovery after injury is a question yet to be completely accepted or rejected.
