Abstract
We examined preceding factors for Muslim-American advocacy. We tested a path model that includes gender, religiosity, religious visibility, discrimination, identity fusion, societal attribution for discrimination, and willingness to engage in advocacy supporting Muslims in America. Insights gained from the model challenge societal assumptions and suggest paths to augmenting advocacy efforts.
