The Relationship between Irritability, Mood and Anxiety in College Students

Abstract
Irritability is often defined as a temporary state that activates aggression-related memories, physiological responses, and behaviors. However, chronic, severe irritability is highly impairing. The purpose is to examine gender differences in irritability and whether gender moderates the relationship between irritability and mood and anxiety symptoms.
