Getting in Touch – Social Status Predicts Physical Interaction in Classrooms

Abstract
In this study we investigate the relations between social status and bodily interaction.
We developed a novel approach to assess social status in grammar school students and sample data on bodily interaction.
Results show overall touching behaviour and touching of private areas is modulated by social status and sex.
