Abstract

Cognitive reflection is the ability to counter an intuitive thought which can help in overriding reasoning errors. Numeracy and familiarity issues contend against the predictive property of cognitive reflection on cognitive biases. The findings suggests that reflective thinking is more than just familiarity and numerical reasoning in predicting cognitive biases.
