Level of Depression and Its Determinants Among Community-Dwelling Older Peoples of Nepal

Our study with 794 samples with using random sampling showed 44.2% of depression and older age,dependency, Smoking, poor self-care, co-morbidity and, lack of physical exercise were significantly associated with depression among elderly of Nepal. Findings suggest the need of strategies for addressing identified factors for improving overall quality of life.
