Abstract

We investigated physiological synchrony, trust, and group performance in unacquainted triads. We found that trust had no significant effect on performance. However, prior performance and lagged synchrony were more effective predictors suggesting that, in some contexts, physiology may be a better predictor of team performance than subjective feelings of trust.
