Abstract

This research provides evidence about a series of person-centered-procedures (latent-profile-analysis) to validate the theoretical perspective centered on the wording-effects as the result of individual differences, traditionally studied with variable-centered-procedures (e.g., CFA, SEM).

Our results provide evidence for the notion that wording-effects are not necessarily an inherent feature of a scale.
